After the U.S. Supreme Court’s favorable decision, the D.C. Circuit has now formally sent the Uinta Basin Railway case back to the Surface Transportation Board, leaving in place the Board’s original decision to approve the project. This ruling allows the Board’s authorization for the railway to take effect, marking another positive step forward in advancing a project that will strengthen regional infrastructure, create jobs, and expand access to critical energy resources.
